The Live CD can't write to my hard drive, nor can it access it, but it can tell how much total space it has, and that's about it for what it could do.

I mean, my linux isn't booting properly at all, and I am using a live cd to fix it if possible.

My install of Ubuntu 9.10 is not booting any more; when searched, it gives the message of

Mine doesn't have any problems with the keyboard, just the touchpad. I'm running a Toshiba Satellite, though, so it may be a different problem entirely.
